Danish summer in Proto-Norse

Denmark can in most cases seem like a pretty dull little country stuck between bigger uproars from about. Yes in most cases we are invisible, not even on the map! We have cold winters, rainy days and low temperatures most of the year. Some even blame us for being behind schedual! But that has certanly changed over the past few years! Now here comes the question: Have you ever experienced a real danish summer? We have a hard time remembering it ourselves. Our snowy minds are only just now getting the first sunbeams laid on our roofs but we know it is just around the corner, Summer time!

When Norse Projects released their Spring/summer lookbook a while ago i was struck with a good feeling on how this kind of danish fashion really works in advantage for our small country. It took me some time to understand the clever touch of this collection, but what Norse always masters is a fascinating and experimental hybrid between Danish cultureheritage and effortless streetwear. It actually makes you want to escape the city life in favor for the quiet country fields and the local woodplated harbor!

(One of the highlights from this collection - the freedom fighter knit featuring the armband worn by danish freedom fighters in the second world war)

Right on Schedual, timeless and smart! Ever experienced a danish summer? I can certanly recommend it!
