Late summer things

A little of this and that over the last couple of weeks. And some new shots of the NB 577 for the TIA comp on Crooked Tongues. Summer is ending already, time runs by too fast.

Stan Smith 3way consortium

These guys are hard to keep clean as you can imagine. They have been boxed for quite some time now. They are ideal for the summer weather, NOT for the winter though! I was foolish enough to wear a pair of raw denims with those, which caused in a rather nice blueish hue on the sockliner and tongue. The quality of the rough suede is top notch, so i am still very pleased with these!

What Denmark was up to this weekend

Massive rain! The highway was flooded, never seen anything like it. I biked home that night, and had water to the saddle. Now thats a special feeling!

Saucony Shadow 5000

These classik runners are easy to love. A no brainer of comfort and shape and the colorway is on top aswell. Saucony has a strong heritage line, and its nice to see them getting shine. The brand is trustworthy, and i would be curious to hear them out about their vintage trainers, and look through their archives. Being a top athletic brand this is not the place they highly focus, but they know the deal. Low profile brand with quality shoes!

Took these out for a spin again. One of my favourites at the moment! The denim in the pic is actually a pair of vintage 501's, in a funny 50's cut. i bet Johny Cash rocked them back then!

New Balance 1500GSB Solebox

Its a funny story with these - The infamous 1500GSB Solebox better known as "The Finals". Solebox has a fantastic relationship with New Balance, or had at least. So when they spit out this final version paying homage to the first they made of this kind the 1500GGB "1 of 150", the hunt was on. The maroon version was sold instore only at solebox, whilst the forest green version was sold at select retailers all over the world. They sold at within minutes most places, and like their other collabs, they created a thick layer of hype. Hikmet from solebox has been succesfull in creating a trademark colorway he could even redo! That is something of an achievement. It of course ended out in an exhausted sneaker audience, and people who wanted a pair of these eneded out getting them. Most of these float around various resell spots now, going for just about retail price now! Incredible how a bubble of hype can burst that easy when people overfeed themselves. It might even have lost a bit of the special solebox x new balance aura which the other peices contain. It just isnt as special anymore! Setting all this nonsence aside the colorway is one of the most solid and trusted colorways ever, and the materials are as usual to die for. Shape is good, really better then most other 1500 these days, and it has a gum sole! Yep happy with these

New Balance 670NPO "WW"

Some tutti-frutty action today. With the matching argyle-styled socks in shorts aswell! This release was so strong. And its already 3 years ago! Nothing to say about this shoe that hasnt already been said. Quality nubuck, premium suede. They even smell nice!

Generic Surplus - Mid Decks

First real outing for these! Got them for free from a mate who snatched them back at the department he works at as a little perk. And I got the enjoyment of wearing them. Cant say that i am much into the whole boat-sneaker hybrid thing at all, but it seems to grow on me slowly. I wanted to see how bad i could actually rock these, and it came out pretty well i think. They are great comfy to say at least! Simple canvas upper, and a nice classik gum sole as we know it. cant really go all wrong there! I dig them, might even wear them some more :-)
